Making some sense of our real human history

Reset History is a gathering place for investigators and fans of Human History that endeavors to be impartial. Here we’ll try to gather and report the last articles and discoveries on human history.

We increasingly suspect that the human journey has been quite a bit more complex and extensive than what we find in the history books. Compiling all these findings in one place helps us forming a more accurate view of this path with the hope of establishing a proper timeline.

We are certain that our ancestors were more sophisticated and technologically advanced than we have previously thought. It is time to revisit history and incorporate some of the new theories into our universal history.

Every ancient civilization has left us a wealth of details and parallel stories in stone, clay, paint and papyrus. More recently, we have received and incredible historical treasure from Herodotus, Thucydides and others, opening a window into our collective past..

In 1870 Heinrich Schliemann discovers the city of Troy on the Mount of Isarlik, Turkey, armed with a copy of Homer’s Iliad. This classic literary masterpiece, which until then was believed to be just a good story, demonstrated to contain real historical scenarios and events.

To gain historical knowledge we must learn from native civilizations, reviewing their scriptures and listening to their stories just as much as using picks and shovels. We invite you to be part of the change!
